Venom Prison's 'Samsara' is a much-vaunted new album that fulfills their potential and matures into something deep, destructive and gloriously beastly. The album is superior to its predecessor in every way and is becoming more and more likely that this band will achieve great things. When you see the world in as horrid a light as Venom Prison do, a little hope can go a long way.
Larissa Stupar, the vocalist for U.K. death metal band Venom Prison, uses her platform to address topics such as narcissistic abuse, forced surrogacy, and revenge fantasies. She identifies as a feminist and believes that feminism is not just for women. Stupar was born in Russia and spent much of her life in Germany, where she was politically active with animal rights and Antifa groups. She now resides in the U.K. and is looking to work with women's rights groups. Her position as a female frontwoman in a death metal band is unique and she uses it to speak out against the oppression of women around the world.
